ABOUT US

WELCOME TO VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER

Vaghaldhara Vibhag Kelavani Mandal (VVKM) is a Public Trust registered under Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 in the year 1968 vide registration no. 9/15-1-1968. Vaghaldhara Vocational Training Center is establiished by VVKM in August 2010 under Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana of Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. Government has created Development Support Agency of Gujarat (DSAG) for implementation of projects under this scheme. Vocational Training Centre under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) are being supported by DSAG. Focus of the scheme is to create state-of-art infrastructure and competence for skilling of tribal youth.VVKM is also managing Shri B.B. Shah Sarvajanik Vidyalaya (Secondary School) since 1971. It also runs Chhatralaya (Hostel) named Smt. Gajraben Fakirchand Shah Sarvajanik Chhatralaya in which SC, ST, Baxi Panch students stay and study. On an average about over 250 students stay in the Chhatralaya while 400 students in all study in the secondary school. VVKM is also started Higher secondary School for Science Gujarati steam since 2015.

Vision

To become a pioneer centre of excellence in the area of vocational skills by designing and offering industrial need based technical skills to the tribal youths of Gujarat and rest of the country.
To improve livelihood of maximum number of tribal families in Valsad District of Gujarat, by providing high quality training, soft skills and employment assistance to the school dropout children and unemployed tribal youth.
